Husky Liners X-Act Contour Floor Mats For 3rd Gen (2022+) Tundra – Upgrade & Protect Your Truck’s Carpet From Wear & Tear
We all love to keep our interior carpets nice and clean. If you’re like me, you might check under the floor mats of any used car you’re looking to buy – just to see how the interior was maintained.
If you want to keep your carpet looking factory fresh, you’re likely considering picking up a set of weather resistant floor mats. I had the same thought… protect the carpet.
Let’s be honest, the factory carpet mats leave a lot to be desired in the when it comes to protection and ease of cleaning. These Husky Liners floor mats, on the other hand, leave no doubt that the carpet is protected.

Step 1. Remove Factory Floor Mats
Remove the front factory floor mats by twisting the latches to release the floor mat. Then lift them up and remove them from the vehicle. The rear floor mat simply lifts up and comes out since there are no latches.
Step 2. Clean Carpet
Remember when I said the factory mat leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to protecting the carpet? Well here is the proof. Gross. Grab a vacuum and clean that mess up.
Step 3. Install New Front Liners
When installing the driver side make sure that the front of the mat goes UNDER the brake and gas pedal. When it is in the right location you can slide the attachment points over the latch and twist the knob to lock the mat in place. Repeat this on the passenger side but don’t worry about the pedals over there.
Step 4. Install New Rear Liner
Start by positioning the mat so that the portion that goes under the front seats is on the floor and the back portion is on the rear seat. Then slide the mat towards the front of the truck. It will fall into place. Then lift and adjust as needed to get the fitment you desire. Now you’re done!
Final Thoughts
For starters these HuskyLiner are WAY beefier than the factory carpet mats and have a solid weight to them. They feel durable in your hand and solid under foot when getting in or out of the truck. I like that they cover way more real estate than the factory mats and have raised edges to prevent drainage into the carpet. For me, the biggest advantage is to keep sand out of the carpet when at the beach, or when you hit a bump off-roading and spill your drink – that would never happen right? Stay protected out there.
As you can see in the picture above these mats are quite a bit larger than the factory mats. The edge of the mat extends over the door sill to keep things from getting into those hard to clean spots. There are many options out there for floor mats but in my opinion these provide the best coverage.
